1. Introduction

Welcome to Ghar Mukhiya (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

Ghar Mukhiya is a household-management application designed to help users manage everyday household information such as milk purchases, kitchen and ration expenses, food expenses, other household expenses, budgets, and food waste.

We respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how information is stored, processed, and used.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Ghar Mukhiya stores on your device, what technical information may be processed through third-party services, and how you can manage your data.

2. Information We Collect

Ghar Mukhiya does not require registration or login .

We do not directly request or collect:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Passwords
• Payment information
• Precise GPS location
• Contacts

Household Information

When you use Ghar Mukhiya, information you enter may include:

• Milk quantity and rate
• Milk purchase records
• Kitchen/ration expenses
• Food expenses
• Planned or unplanned food entries
• Other household expenses
• Waste records and waste reasons
• Custom categories
• Budget information
• Dates associated with your records

This household information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide the application's features and reports. Ghar Mukhiya does not maintain a remote database containing your household financial records.

3. App Permissions

Ghar Mukhiya uses certain Android permissions to provide its features and supporting services.

Notifications are used for optional household reminders.

Internet access is used by supporting services such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics.

Network status access is used to determine whether a network connection is available.

Ghar Mukhiya does not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, or phone calls.

4. Firebase Analytics

Ghar Mukhiya uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the application and to improve its features and user experience.

Firebase Analytics may process information such as:

• App interactions and screen views
• Application version
• Device and operating-system information
• Firebase analytics identifiers
• Approximate geographic information that may be derived from network information such as IP address

The application does not intentionally send the following household information to Firebase Analytics:

• Exact household expense amounts
• Expense notes
• Household names
• User-entered descriptions
• Backup files
• Complete household financial records

Where applicable, certain values are sent only as broad categories or ranges rather than exact financial figures.

Firebase Analytics is used for product analytics and application improvement. Ghar Mukhiya's current version does not contain advertising SDKs.

5. Firebase Crashlytics

Ghar Mukhiya uses Firebase Crashlytics , provided by Google LLC, to identify crashes, errors, and technical problems.

Crashlytics may process technical information such as:

• Device information
• Android operating-system information
• Application version
• Crash and error information
• Stack traces
• Diagnostic information related to application failures
• Technical application state

This information is used to identify and fix crashes and improve application stability.

Ghar Mukhiya does not intentionally send household expense records, household names, personal notes, or backup files to Crashlytics.

6. Local Household Data

Ghar Mukhiya is designed as an offline-first application .

Household records are stored locally on your Android device and are used to provide features including:

• Milk tracking
• Kitchen/ration tracking
• Food tracking
• Waste tracking
• Other household expenses
• Budgets
• History
• Monthly reports

Ghar Mukhiya does not operate its own remote user database or cloud server for these household records.

You can remove locally stored application data by clearing the app's data through Android settings or by uninstalling the application, subject to normal Android operating-system behavior.

7. Backup and Restore

Ghar Mukhiya provides a backup and restore feature using the Android Storage Access Framework (SAF) .

Backup files are generated locally in JSON format and are saved to a location selected by you.

Depending on your selection, the backup may be saved to local device storage or to a cloud-storage provider available through Android's file picker.

Ghar Mukhiya does not maintain these backup files on its own servers and does not upload backup contents to Firebase.

You are responsible for the privacy and security of any location or cloud-storage provider that you choose for your backup.

8. Third-Party Services

Ghar Mukhiya currently uses the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics — Google LLC

Used to understand application usage and feature interactions.

Firebase Crashlytics — Google LLC

Used to identify crashes and technical problems.

The current version of Ghar Mukhiya does not integrate:

• AdMob
• Advertising SDKs
• Firebase Authentication
• Firebase Firestore
• Firebase Realtime Database
• Firebase Storage
• Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Payment gateways

The current Firebase implementation contains only Analytics and Crashlytics.

9. Advertising

The current version of Ghar Mukhiya is ad-free .

It does not use:

• Banner advertisements
• Interstitial advertisements
• Rewarded advertisements
• AdMob
• Advertising SDKs

No advertising system is currently integrated into the application.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by Ghar Mukhiya.

Household records are stored locally on the user's device, and the application does not operate a central database containing those household records.

Analytics and diagnostic information sent to Firebase is transmitted using secure network communication.

We do not intentionally transmit household notes, backup files, household names, or exact household financial figures through Firebase Analytics or Crashlytics.

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Data Retention and Deletion

Local Household Data

Your household records remain on your device until you delete the app data or uninstall Ghar Mukhiya.

Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics

Technical and analytics information processed through Firebase is retained according to the applicable Firebase service configuration and Google's policies.

Ghar Mukhiya does not maintain a separate cloud database of your household records.

12. Children's Privacy

Ghar Mukhiya is intended for general household management and is not specifically directed toward children.

The application does not require users to create accounts or provide names, phone numbers, email addresses, or precise location information.

The application also does not include public profiles, chat functionality, or personalized advertising.

13. International Data Processing

Because Ghar Mukhiya uses Google Firebase services, certain technical and analytics information may be processed or stored in jurisdictions outside your country.

Such processing is subject to the applicable policies, security measures, contractual arrangements, and legal requirements of the relevant service provider.
